In nine days on May 25th it’ll be the 52nd anniversary of the release of the groundbreaking film, Midnight Cowboy.
This was a popular but controversial movie back then because it dealt with not only straight sex, but homosexual sex and that got it an X-rating back then. It ended up winning three Academy Awards including Best Picture and Best Director, making it the only X-Rated film in history to have won the Best Picture Academy Award.

Monday: I was hungry for fried chicken Saturday and a Google search led me to Amir Foods. They sell fried chicken there and they’re located on…Frye Avenue! So of course I had to try it out, tune in tomorrow to see how good it was.

Wednesday: As I reported last week, Castle’s Patio Inn has been sold. I stopped by to purchase my last tub of cheese from Barb Castle and I met the new owner of Castle’s Patio Inn!
Thursday: I’ll be cooking up and rating a frozen pizza this Thursday.
Friday: I’m going to have a palate cleanser before I start eating another menu!
Saturday: We’ll spotlight another Saturday night meal from the past.
