The other week on my way to work, I noticed a store off of Sterling Avenue that I had never noticed before. It’s a store called Just For Fun and I decided to check it out and make it the focus of this week’s Shopping Locally post.
And so that’s exactly what we’re doing. Hooray!
Here we are at Just For Fun off of Sterling Avenue.
As I approached the door I noticed something a little different there, “NO SOAP?” Well, I showered, so I guess I can enter.
Wow, it’s big in here and packed with inventory that I’m sure is fun, because, well, the store is called Just For Fun, after all! I mean, come on!
Mike’s the manager here and he told me that they’ve been in this location for over ten years. He said they operated in other locations before this and they’ve been in business for over 15 years.
He said I was free to take some photos and I think he realized I was freshly showered. Clean living pays off folks!
Let’s go take some photos, just for the fun of it!
I’m not a big game person, so I don’t know what a lot of this stuff is, but I’m guessing that it’s all just for fun!
Here’’s some miniature figurines and statues. Fun in small doses.
They have a large selection of unique jigsaw puzzles in here including a globe puzzle and a 3-D Ravensburger Puzzle.
Not for nothing, but Ravensburger sounds like an Edgar Allan Poe hamburger stand.
I have no idea what any of this stuff is, but it sure looks like fun!
Finally a couple of familiar things, a gumball machine and a Monopoly game. Fun-a-lung-a-ding-dong.
There’s a nice selection of books to peruse in here.
And there’s colored pencils and paint for sprucing up models and other fun items.
Well, that’s…uh…well, something else that I have no idea what it is.
Okay, this is enough fun for one day!
