Today is the birthday of Keith Moon who was the drummer and the heart and soul of the band The Who.
He would have been 74-years-old today, but sadly his flame burned out on September 7th, 1978, when the madcap drummer overdosed on a drug he was taking to curb his alcoholism. Irony at its finest hour.
