John Lennon had the distinction of being the first Beatle to release a solo single. The single was, “Give Peace A Chance” and it was recorded in a hotel room in Canada after he and Yoko got married and they were having a “bed in” peace celebration open to the press.

Tuesday: Sadly it’s been announced that Sky Harbor isn’t going to re-open and it’s currently for sale. I’m going to post a tribute to this classic Peoria restaurant and post my hopes that someone buys it and leaves it just the way it is.
Wednesday: I’m going to continue my series of local shopping stops and this week we’re going to feature a stop at JR’s Mini Mall in Pekin.
Thursday: It’ll be another Thursday Minute Marty Meal and I need to think up what I want to cook this week.
Friday: It’ll be the second week of eating the Arby’s menu. This week we’ll sample the last two of the Roast Beef sandwiches. My bowels are already dreading it!
Saturday: We’ll spotlight yet another Sandwich of Peoria.
