We’re getting near the end of the All Day Breakfast Menu at McDonald’s.
This week we’re going to see if the Hotcakes and Sausage and the Fruit ’N Yogurt Parfait are digestible.
This marks a month of McDonald’s eating for those of you keeping McScore of this whole McMess!
Here’s the bags housing this week’s McDonald’s meals. Let’s take them out and have a look at them.
The Hotcakes come with syrup and five pats of McDonald’s butter. That’s a little too much butter, but I guess it’s better to have too much than not enough.
I don’t like how the pancakes and sausage are shifted to the extreme left of the container. That’s messing my OCD up a little. I’m also not happy about the sausage patty just sitting on top of the hotcakes. I think it should be packaged separately and it’s disturbing me the way it’s just sitting there. I feel like it’s a subtle rape of the hotcakes, but that’s probably just me.
The parfait comes with crunchy granola and I put that on top of it. It almost makes up for the sausage rape of the hotcakes…but not really.
The First Bites
The Sausage Patty: This thing is fucking horrible. Even before I bit into it, it had raped the hotcakes and I wan’t happy about that at all. It’s really greasy, the meat is spongey and it has a gross, somewhat metallic taste to it. Yikes!
The Hotcakes: These are not so bad. They’re fluffy and light and I actually liked them. I didn’t McLove them, but I did like them.
The Fruit ’N Yogurt Parfait: I liked this too, but full disclosure: I only ate the top half with the whip cream, the bottom had some berry mixture and I’m not a big fan of berries unless the first name is Chuck.
This Week’s Digestible Rating (One is Good, Four Is Bad, Zero Is Perfect.)
The Sausage Patty: Four Rolaids Bottles - Not digestible and really disgusting. Plus it raped the hotcakes and that’s unforgivable!
The Hotcakes and Fruit ’N Yogurt Parfait: Totally digestible and easy to eat. I doubt I’ll ever eat them again, but they weren’t that bad.
