It’s hard to believe, but this year marked the 40th anniversary of Crusens on War Memorial being in business. It doesn’t look a day over 35!
We went to Crusens on Farmington Road about a month ago, let’s go and see what’s happening at the Crusens on War Memorial tonight on our 134th night out on the town!

Bar Number 134: Crusens On War Memorial, Sunday, May 31, 2026
Signpost ahead: Crusens on War Memorial.
Kind of a Spinal Tap, Puppet Show moment as our “Welcome MBIP” is at the bottom of the sign, but what are you going to do?
Let’s go in and see what’s happening inside on this lovely summer evening.
There’s the bar and there’s an open seat at the end which I will promptly snag and get settled in for this evening’s visit to Crusens on War Memorial.
Austin was the friendly bartender on duty and here he is bringing me a Budweiser tall boy which was just three bucks this evening! Such a deal, cheers, everyone!
Here’s the view from where I’m seated and there’s the large selection beers on tap. This may be the most taps we’ve seen on this tour so far!
It’s always a treat to see Spuds MacKenzie in the house!
The Daily Specials are listed on this sign over on this wall opposite the bar.
They have not one, but two pinball machines in here and a row of gaming machines lines the front wall if you’re feeling lucky. Well, do ya…punk?
Here’s a shot of the bar from the other end of the room.
There’s tables opposite the bar and comrfortable booths line the far wall. There’s also tables up here on this stage if you’re in the mood to dine and drink for an audience.
There’s some colorful chalk art displaying different events happening here for the month and they have a patio concert series happening this summer. Speaking of the patio…
Here it is in all of it’s summer glory! There’s tables and umbrellas out here to dine, drink and relax in the summer warmth.
There’s even a bar out here and check out the Bill’s Lemonade drink menu! Perfect drinks to quench that summertime thirst!
Regan and Dan were seated at a table out here and it was great to see them and catch up on things. They’re both comedians who perform at the Jukebox Comedy Club, Mason City Limits and other venues around the area.
Both of them are extremely funny and talented comics and you should follow their social media pages to keep up with where and when they’re performing: Regan and Dan. Great to see both of them!
And here’s Ted, who was with Regan and Dan, what a smile! You’re a good boy, Ted and this is the perfect closing photo for today! Bow Wow Wow and we’ll see you all tomorrow!
