I’ve been to Joe’s Original Italian & Martini Bar many times, but I just realized that I’ve never had a martini in there. All that will change tonight, as Joe’s Original Italian & Martini Bar will be our 133rd bar of this 365 bars tour.
Off to Joe’s we go!

Bar Number 133: Joe’s Original Italian & Martini Bar, Saturday, May 30, 2026
Since we’re going to be drinking martinis tonight, I thought we take an Uber to Joe’s bar.
It’s not wise to martini and drive. That almost rhymed!
Here we are at Joe’s Original Italian & Martini Bar.
They have a large patio out front, but we’re going inside, where the bar is located.
Okay, one more door to go through and then…
We’re here at the bar!
Let’s snag a seat and get settled in for this Saturday evening in Peoria Heights.
Being true to their name, they have a nice selection of martinis to choose from.
And here’s the pretty bartender, Kleisha serving up our first martini of the evening and the first one ever at Joe’s. Cheers!
This is the Lemon Basil martini and it was delicious!
As you can see, this is a well-stocked bar and there’s the two dueling taps behind the bar.
Dave was seated at the end of the bar and we last saw him on our Saturday night out at Rizzi’s. Great to see and chat with him again!
Here’s a shot of the pretty crew on duty at Joe’s on this wonderful Saturday evening, from left: Kleshia, Kate, Michelle, Kristain and Jess.
There’s tables opposite the bar and check out this nice wine display on the far wall.
There’s dining tables in the back and there’s wooden booths in this elevated dining room over here.
Meanwhile, back at the bar, I noticed a sign for this evening’s featured martini, a Teas Knees Martini.
So I ordered one and it was a flavorful and delicious martini.
Now it’s time for our Saturday night dinner!
I ordered two appetizers for tonight’s dinner, the Crab Cakes and an order of stuffed mushrooms. They both look fantastic, let’s dig in and try them out!
The Crab Cakes were tasty cakes of lump crabmeat with a sweet chili sauce and the sauce complimented them so well!
The Stuffed Mushrooms were served in a river of melted cheese and were stuffed with tasty crabmeat and they were a rich and creamy delight!
What a tasty and delicious Saturday night dinner!
And for dessert, I had a Chocolate Martini.
A sweet ending to a fabulous dinner and a nice Saturday evening at the bar at Joe’s Original Italian & Martini Bar.
