Do you know what time it is?
It’s time for a Scott Turley Road Trip! Come on, let’s go!

Bar Number 98: Hanover’s Pub, Sunday, April 19, 2026
And we’re off!
There’s the MBIP Wheelman himself, Scott Turley steering us towards Metamora. And through the miracle of these here interwebs…
Here we are at Hanover’s Pub in Metamora, Illinois.
There’s Scott, leading the way inside to start this Sunday afternoon.
There’s a dining room in the front section and the bar is located in the back.
Scott is already settled in with a beer and checking the menu out, I need to sit down and catch up!
And no sooner do I take a seat, than the friendly bartender on duty, Kaiser delivers me a beer. Perfect timing!
Kaiser said his family bought the bar about three years ago and business has been great! Nice to hear that and they’ve done a wonderful job with the place, it’s an impressive pub!
There’s the beers on tap behind the bar and there’s a nice draft beer menu hanging on the wall next to the bar.
As you can see from the inventory of these three coolers behind the bar, they are very well stocked for a thirsty crowd in here!
I love the neon sign hanging on the back wall!
There’s dining tables and chairs up front in the dining room and there’s more directly behind the bar.
They have a full menu in here and there’s the kitchen in the back.
Meanwhile, back at the bar…
Scott and I split an order of the onion rings and these were nothing short of spectacular!
Nice and thin and lightly breaded, just the way both Scott and I like them. They were a tasty treat and got a thumbs up from Scott, who’s an onion ring aficionado!
Okay, we have one more food order on the way, but while that’s being prepared, I’ll take a few more photos in here.
There’s a gaming room in the back for those of you in a gambling mood.
There’s a lone dart board standing tall in the corner over here.
And, back at the bar…
Our second food item of the day has arrived, we split an order of chicken wings and French fries. The fries were a thick cut, but they were crispy and seasoned nicely and very tasty.
The chicken wings were plump, juicy and the sauce had a nice and tasty flavor to it.
There’s Scott digging in with his patent-pending, “Turley bite!”
Thanks to Kaiser and everyone at Hanover’s Pub for the delicious food and drink and thanks to Scott for driving and hanging out on this Sunday afternoon!
It was a blast and another fun Scott Turley Road Trip!
