I haven’t been to Davis Bros. Pizza for quite a while. And they have a bar in there, so I think it’s time to take a trip there and have our Saturday night dinner there.

That’s the plan and I’m sticking to it! So it’s off we go to East Peoria!

Bar Number 97: Davis Bros. Pizza, Saturday, April 18, 2026

Here we are at Davis Bros. Pizza in East Peoria. It is “The Original,” so let’s go inside and start our Saturday night in East Peoria.

There’s a large dining area as you enter, but we’re headed to the bar located in the middle of the room. And I think I see a couple of familiar faces over there…

It’s my friends, Amber and Joe!

Always wonderful to have them join us for a Saturday night dinner and they’re looking fabulous as always!

Alexa was the friendly bartender for the evening and here she is serving me up a bottle of Corona. She then took our dinner order and we’re off to a flying start here in Davis Bros. Pizza on this fine Saturday evening.

We started our dinner off with an appetizer order of chicken wings. The sauce comes served to the side so you can sauce the wings up yourself, which is exactly what we did and they were delicious.

There’s Amber and Joe enjoying the chicken wings and now it’s time for me to take some photos in here while the main course is being prepared.

There’s four beers on tap behind the bar and a nice selection of bottled and canned beers. I switched over to Pabst Blue Ribbon after I saw the tallboy on display. It made me think of Chad Wallace!

There’s a gaming area up in the front of the room and you can, “Win Cash!”

They have frozen pizzas for sale in here if you want to get one or two to go.

I’ve never noticed the pool table in the back room here, I wonder if this is something new they just brought in? Anyway, it’s a nice looking pool table!

I love the telephone booth over in the corner, but I’m always sad when I look inside and there’s not an actual phone in there. Oh well, what are you going to do?

Meanwhile, back at the bar…

Our pizza pie has arrived! We got a lovely cheese pizza and it was crispy and so delicious!
