As I noted on Wednesday, this coming Sunday is Easter Sunday and so I thought that this week we’d have an early celebration with some Easter snacks.
So let’s go to Walgreens and do egg-zactly that!
Here we are at the Walgreens on Sheridan and Glen Avenue. Let’s go inside and check out their Easter snack selection.
They have a whole aisle filled with Easter treats!
We’ll make a few selections and head on back to the MBIP World Headquarters Snacking Area.

The MBIP World Headquarters Snacking Area
Here’s the quartet of Easter snacks that I purchased at Walgreens. Let’s check them out, one by one!
——
Easter Treat Number One: Reese’s Pieces Eggs
Our first Easter treat is a package of Reese’s Pieces Eggs. I like the milk carton box these Easter treats come in, let’s open them up and see what they’re all about!
I poured these little candy eggs out into a paper bowl and took a bite of one of them. They were a tasty peanut-butter candy filled treat. A nice start to our Easter snacking day! Let’s move on to our second Easter snack of this afternoon!
——
Easter Treat Number Two: Lindtt Chocolate Carrots
This is a candy treat from the Lindtt company that they call, “Chocolate Carrots.” Kind of an unusual candy treat, so I thought I’d check them out.
When you take them out of the box, they kind of look like a tiny wrapped up umbrella.
When You take the wrapping off, they look like a skinny chocolate umbrella. This doesn’t look like a chocolate carrot in any way shape or form and it’s kind of unsettling for me.
Let’s just keep moving along here!
——
Easter Treat Number Three: Peeps Rice Krispies Treats
Peeps are an Easter tradition that every Easter snacker should try out. I found these Peeps treats that are a combination of Rice Krispies Treats. I love Rice Krispies Treats, so I’m anxious to try this snackable combination out!
Okay, this was a bit of a disappointment. The Peeps kind of looked like Albino Johnny Winter birds and when I took an Ozzy Osbourne bite and bit the head off, it wasn’t a Rice Krispie treat at all.
I thought it would be a Peep treat filled with a Rice Krispie mixture, but it was just a white Peep bird. There was no Rice Krispie treat involved with this at all, another Easter disappointment in this somewhat sad snacking afternoon!
Oh well, like I said in the last section, let’s just keep moving along here.
——
Easter Treat Number Four: Sloth pooper
This isn’t really an Easter treat, but it’s something that was placed with the Easter candy and it caught my eye.
It’s a candy toy with the somewhat unfortunate name of, “Sloth Pooper.”
On the box he claims that he “Poops Candy” and it says that you should “Wind Me Up & Watch Me Go!”
It’s equal parts scary and intriguing, so let’s check this toy out that is a candy-shitting machine!
You put the candy in a hole at the back of its head and I guess it comes out of this lower hole.
This is kind of unsettling for me. How about you?
So I loaded the shitting machine full of candy, wound him up and nothing happened,
He just sat on the table, full of candy with that stupid fucking look on his face.
So I wound him up again and he just continues to stand there with that stupid fucking grin on his face. He’s not shitting candy and this is highly disappointing!
Is he constipated? Should I try and find him some sort of toy Ex-Lax?
I guess there’s only one thing to do…
Throw him in the trash and just keep moving along.
Happy early Easter everyone, have a wonderful weekend!
