Hard to believe that tomorrow is the 22nd anniversary of the horrific day that unfolded on September 11, 2001. We all have our own September 11th story and two of mine are listed below and there’s also an interview that Steve Tarter did for WCBU Radio about how I was living in New York City on that day.
There’s also links to three other articles about that dark day in history and a video of a woman who took the phone call from Todd Beamer who was on the infamous Flight 93.

MBIP Coming Attractions
Monday: I had an amazing dinner and evening at Peoria’s newest bar and lounge, The Third Chance Bar & Lounge, which is located right next to the 3300 Event Center and it’s owned and managed by same wonderful people. You can see photos of this new entertainment lounge and what I had for dinner tomorrow!
Tuesday: It’s the second week of the MBIP Corndog Tour and we’re going to the Peoria Dog Haus Biergarten in the Metro Centre for this week’s corndog.
Wednesday: Adam Duvall is eating popcorn every day for 365 days in 2023. We joined him for his 250th corny day at Jane’s Sweet Addictions in the Northwoods Mall.
Thursday: It’s going to be another Thursday Month of the Book Club Day as I continue to work on my forthcoming book. I’ll also reveal the new book I just started reading!
Friday: This may be our final grilling episode of the season here on MBIP, since summer is officially over and gone. Sob!
Saturday: We’ll be taking another glance at Peoria’s past with yet another Meanwhile, Back In Peoria’s Past post.
