Last week marked the 54th anniversary of Woodstock, the three day music festival that happened on August 15, 16 and 17 in 1969. This was an historic festival and a moment in our culture when it seemed like peace and love was something that just might happen. Well, it didn’t, but it’s nice to go back to a time when we had innocent visions of the future.

MBIP Coming Attractions
Monday: Last night I went and had a fun night at The Friendly Valley Tavern. I had a wonderful chilidog from Nate Dawgs, hung out with friends and saw a Talking Heads tribute band!
Tuesday: It’s the end of the MBIP 23 week grilled cheese tour. Tune in on Tuesday to see where we ended this cheesy tour at!
Wednesday: I went to Peoria’s only local Tequila specialty store, Tequila Ria, which is located in the old Trefzger’s Bakery location on Prospect Road. I met the owner and of course I took some photos!
Thursday: I’m going to start taking Thursday’s off from the blog and will explain this next Thursday!
Friday: I’m finally going to do another Please Grill Me post after so many weeks of not doing on!
Saturday: We’ll be taking yet another trip back in time for another Meanwhile, Back In Peoria’s Past post.
