This week I’ve got two boneless pork chops for our weekly grilled treat. I’m going to prepare them Asian style with an Asian marinade and dipping sauce.
I’m also going to make a side dish of Ramen Noodles and I’ll be making an Asian styled sauce to dress them up with too.
Okay, it’s time…let’s cook!
We’ll start off by seasoning the two boneless pork chops I picked up for this week’s Please Grill me post.
We’re using a quartet of seasonings for the chops: Black pepper, red pepper, brown sugar bourbon seasoning and onion powder.
I seasoned both sides and rubbed them into the pork chops.
Insert obligatory “rubbing one off” joke here!
Now it’s time to make our Asian infused marinade for the pork chops.
From left: Rice vinegar, Liquid Smoke, Asian chili oil, honey sesame sauce, soy sauce and Teriyaki marinade sauce.
I mixed portions of each and put the chops into the tub of Asian infused marinade and they’ll sit in the refrigerator all night soaking up those tasty Asian flavors!
For a side dish we’re having Ramen noodles, so I made an Asian inspired sauce for the noodles and I’m also going to use it as a dipping sauce for the pork chops.
I used equal parts: Red Curry paste, Bang Bang sauce, Asian chili oil, honey sesame sauce and soy sauce.
The big container is for the noodles and the small is the dipping sauce for the pork chops.
These will also sit overnight in the refrigerator letting the flavors mingle and become a flavor unto itself.

The Next Day
Before I grill the pork chops, I thought I’d pre-bake them in a 350 degree oven for about a half an hour.
So in the oven they go.
Now it’s time to prepare the ramen noodles.
I tore the pack open before I took a picture of it, so here is the Rice Ramen noodles with the top torn off.
We’ll pour the noodles into a pan of boiling water, mx them up and minutes later pour cold water on them and then drain the pan and put back on a low heat.
Now we’ll add our Asian-infused sauce, stir and then have a taste.
Oh wow, the sauce is better than I could’ve dreamed, really tasty, succulent and compliments the ramen noodles perfectly.
We’ll cover thees and let them simmer on a low heat while we go check up on the pork chops in the oven.
The chops are perfectly baked, just like they’ve been a guest on Scooby Doo!
Now we’ll transfer them to the MBIP grill on the balcony…
And we’ll sear them on a high heat out here.
I’ve seared them about three minutes on each side and I think we’re all set to plate up this week’s grilled dinner!
Here it is: Two boneless Asian Marinated Pork Chops with a side of Ramen Noodles with an Asian Infused Sauce.
It looks and smells absolutely fabulous!
I thought I’d try the ramen noodles first and they’re even better than when I tasted them earlier.
Letting them simmer really helped the Asian Infused Sauce mingle with the noodles and it’s bursting with Asian flavor!
It’s a nice start to this week’s dinner!
Now we move on to the main course, the Marinated Asian Pork Chops.
They look absolutely delicious with the grilled seared outside and oh so juicy and tender inside.
I dunked a piece into our Asian dipping sauce and these are so delicious and flavorful!
The main flavor coming through is the soy sauce and Bang Bang sauce, but the others are adding subtle tastes to it as well.
The pork chop is tender and juicy and the Asian dipping sauce sends it over the top, flavor-wise.
What a taste-sensation and a wondrous dinner!
