Three years ago the Covid 19 pandemic was just beginning and everyone was freaking out. One of the craziest things, at least to me, was how people immediately started hoarding toilet paper.
Thankfully, three years later, things are somewhat back to normal. But as a reminder to that crazy year of 2020, here’s six links about the great toilet paper shortage of 2020, one link about a TP shortage in 1973 and a video of a woman who didn’t have to worry about a toilet paper shortage because she doesn’t use it!
And then there’s the MBIP Coming Attractions as to what’s happening on the blog next week!

MBIP Coming Attractions
Monday: I had my Saturday night dinner at Jalapenos Mexican Grill and you can see photos and read all about that tomorrow.
Tuesday: We’re up to three weeks on our 23 week grilled cheese tour and this week I went with my friend, Artie Fowler to LaGondola Spaghetti House & Leonardo’s Pizza to try their take on a grilled cheese sandwich.
Wednesday: You’ve probably heard by now that The Costume Trunk is up for sale. Steve Spain has owned and operated this business on West Main Street here in Peoria since 1981. I went and took some photos of the store and had a nice chat with Steve about his decision to sell his unique business.
Thursday: Another unique business is located right around the corner from The Costume Trunk and that’s The Moon Dancer Boutique. Owner Julie Vonachen asked customers and friends to describe the shop and I’ll be listing those remarks along with photos.
Friday: I’m going to start a podcast on my Midwest Slice Of Life channel and I’ll have a preview of that on Friday.
Saturday: We’ll be taking another trip to the past on a Meanwhile, Back In Peoria’s Past post.
