This coming Thursday would’ve been comedian George Carlin’s 85th birthday. However, he died back on June 22, 2008, so he’s not around to do much celebrating these days.

MBIP Coming Attractions
Monday: Mike’s Tavern is now serving food! So of course I went there for my Saturday Night Dinner last night! Tune in tomorrow to see what I got!
Tuesday: Jack’s On Adam’s is Peoria’s newest tavern and one of their specialties is pizza pie, so I had to include it on the Slices Of Peoria pizza tour!
Wednesday: Wheels ‘O Time Museum recently opened up and they’ve refurbished the old Vonachen’s Junction Train cars, so I’m going to go take a look at that and have photos on Wednesday.
Thursday: It’s going to be another Redecoration Day here at MBIP World Headquarters, Mach IV! The front room is just about done and I have a dining room set now!
Friday: It’s been a longtime since I took a road trip with MBIP Pal and Wheelman, Scott Turley, but we’re going on one for a palate cleansing meal after all of those chicken sandwiches!
Saturday: We’ll be taking another trip back in time as we present another Meanwhile, Back In Peoria’s Past.
