As most of you who follow the MBIP blog know, The MBIP World Headquarters was pretty much destroyed from water damage and a collapsed ceiling.
It did give me a chance to prove I’m the world’s biggest media whore by getting on the news shortly after I learned that the MBIIP World Headquarters was all of a sudden uninhabitable.
Below are some before the fire photos, after the fire photos and a few from where I’m temporarily living now, The Hotel MBIP.

The MBIP World Headquarters: Before The Fire
Here’s what I called the social area of the MBIP World Headquarters. This is where guests…(mainly Amber and Joe)…would gather and hang out.
This is the dining room and library area of the MBIP World Headquarters.
It’s not for sure, but I’ve been told that most of my book collection will survive. I’m still waiting for the details on this.
So here’s some shots I got of the MBIP World Headquarters after the fire. I only had a few minutes so there’s not a lot of photos, plus I was kind of freaked out to see stuff I’ve collected my whole life fucked up.
I feel so lucky that a lot of my stuff survived. I’ll learn more later as I hear from my insurance company, but it looks like most of my hard to replace stuff is okay and I feel incredibly lucky about that!

Welcome To The Hotel MBIP
So for now, I have to live in a hotel. It’s not the worst situation and here’s my bathroom.
This is the combination of a kitchen sink and a kitchen area.
I’ve got the sink there plus a microwave oven and a tiny refrigerator.
This area kind of sucks, but what are you going to do?
Here’s my bedroom, this area is extremely comfortable.
Here’s the office area, I’ve yet to turn on that TV and I doubt I ever will.
