Last week we created our twelfth grilled cheese sandwich and I think that this is a good time to put an end to this cheesy series.
As I explained in the first episode, I started this series because I was limiting myself on going out and doing things for the blog. I’m in a high risk group for the whole Covid thing, so I thought it would be a fun thing to do without going anywhere except to the grocery store.
Well, it’s now three months later and I’m happy to report that the Covid numbers are going down and I feel a little more comfortable about starting to go out to places again for the blog.
I’m going to start a new series next week that will start that process somewhat. I’m still going to be careful and I’m not ready for restaurants or bars just yet, but this will be a good start to integrating myself back into doing public interactive posts.
Till then, here’s a wrap up and links to all twelve of the grilled cheese sandwiches from the last three months!
Week Number One: Classic Grilled Cheese
This was a classic grilled cheese using the newly purchased Grilled Cheese Pan and sourdough bread and Kraft American Cheese.
Week Number Two: Breakfast Grilled Cheese
I combined scrambled eggs to the mix and this was a delicious breakfast grilled cheese sandwich.
Week Number Three: SOB Grilled Cheese
A South of the border-styled grilled cheese sandwich.
Week Number Four: Grilled Mac ‘N Cheese
I really started to push the boundaries here by adding mac ‘n cheese to the mix, but this was a delicious and unique grilled cheese sandwich!
Week Number Five: Grilled Waffle & Bacon Cheese
I wish I would’ve known about adding syrup, because that could’ve taken this to an even higher level!
Week Number Six: P.B. & N. (Peanut Butter & Nutella
I ditched the cheese for this sweet grilled recipe.
Week Number Seven: Duplicating Dan Seipel
A grilled ham and cheese inspired by a Tweet from Dan Seipel
Week Number Eight: Grilled Chicken Wing Cheese
This week’s grilled cheese combined my love of chicken wings with grilled cheese.
Week Number Nine: Grilled Cheeza
A pizza inspired grilled cheese sandwich.
Week Number Ten: Sweet Heat Grilled Cheese
I added syrup after someone suggested it and it was a delicious idea!
Week Number Eleven: WB Grilled Cheese
Another tasty syrup-infused grilled cheese sandwich.
Week Number Twelve: Grilled Chili Cheese
A savory grilled cheese sandwich topped with homemade beanless chili. A tasty end to this cheesy series and thanks to all of you for following along!
