There’s lots of good places to enjoy pizza in Peoria, but my all-time favorite is Agatucci’s.
One thing I’ve missed most in this rotten-ass pandemic is sitting at the end of the bar at Agatucci’s, enjoying the pizza and shooting the shit with Tony, Danny and whoever happens to be around.
Since that isn’t going to happen anytime soon, I thought that we’d revisit Aggie’s back when I didn’t even know what pandemic meant.
This is a post from the end of our Year of Pizza tour. I started it at Aggie’s and I ended it at Aggie’s!
Oh Sherman…

Whoomp, here we are at Agatucci’s, my favorite Peoria pizza emporium and bar!
I always sit down at the end of the bar and there’s Tony and Danny Agatucci, the friendliest guys in town…unless you try and rob them!
They made a special pizza for me this evening since it was the end of the Year of Pizza.
The pizza was divided into thirds and it was one third pepperoni, sausage and the Agatucci’s special pizza consisting of green peppers, onion and mushrooms.
There’s Tony and Mike assembling this special pizza pie!
Time flies backwards here when you’re having fun and waiting for your pizza pie!
I love the Michelob stained glass light that hovers over the bar in here. The night belongs to Michelob.
Here’s Mike delivering this special Agatucci’s pizza pie!
This looks amazing and I took a rectangle slice from each section!
I love Agatucci’s pizza and this pie was no exception!
The crust is crispy, the sauce has a nice tang and zip to it and the toppings are fresh and tasty.
Agatucci’s is Peoria’s oldest pizza parlor and bar and they definitely know what they’re doing there.
A classic Peoria destination for sure!
The pizza pie was huge, so I had some leftovers to take home…
And they gave me separate doggy bags for each section!
I love this place!
