Okay, this week we really go back in time to a pizza post from 2013 when the MBIP blog was still in its infancy.
Back then I had started a short-lived series called, “Eating Peoria” and for this episode I stopped at Fedora’s and got a tasty cheese pizza.
Let’s go back in time and revisit this cheesy post from the past.
Oh, Sherman…
Please set the Wayback Machine for September 26, 2013 and…
Baboom—here we are at Fedora’s on the corner of University and W. McClure.
Let’s go in and see what’s happening.
I went in and met John behind the counter.
The menu was above the counter and as you can see if you look closely, there’s lots of choices for pizza in here.
I went the simple route and got a plain cheese pizza, which is my favorite kind of pizza pie.
There’s John preparing the aforementioned pizza pie.
This PJ Star review notes that in addition to many styles of pizza, Fedora’s also serves international foods including Gyros and homemade Baklava. Plus they also have fabulous homemade Sub Sandwiches.
This is Nabil, who’s the owner of Fedora’s and a very nice guy.
I gave him an MBIP business card and he happily displayed it as I shot his photo.
Here’s the pizza, fresh out of the oven. It looks so cheesy and tasty!
I transported the cheesy pizza pie back to the MBIP World Headquarters.
This was the first take-out dinner I had done at the blog at the time, little did I know that this would become a trend in the post pandemic times of 2020!
Here it is: This week’s Pizza of Peoria, a lovely cheese pizza from Fedora’s just for me!
Fedora’s pizza has a nice thick crust, the sauce is zingy and tasty and they have rich and creamy cheese.
A delicious pizza pie that you should definitely check out.
