There’s a brand new place to eat pizza here in Peoria and it’s located at Weaver Ridge Golf Club. It’s got the perfect name for a pizza parlor and entertainment center located in a golf club and that name is Slice!
We have two special guest stars this week, so let’s head off on this week’s saucy and cheesy journey!
Here we are at WeaverRidge Golf Club. One big misconception of this place is that it’s a private club and restaurant but it’s open to the public for golfing and dining.
Hey, if they let me in, you certainly are welcome to stop on by!
We have two special guest stars for this week’s pizza post and there they are holding the door open. We’ll introduce them in a minute.
There’s the sign introducing Slice!
We’ll go past the main dining room down the hall and we’ll enter…
Slice! This is a real entertainment center and I’ll post photos of some of the fun that you can have in here in a minute, but first, here’s our two special guest stars: Madeline and Matt!
Always fun to spend and evening with these two!
There’s the Slice menu, pizza, wings and pasta!
Matt’s sister, Taylor took our order and posed for a photo with Madeline.
Our server is Clera, whom we’ve met on past visits to WeaverRidge, great to see her again!
This place is a real entertainment center with two state-of-the art golf simulators, a classic pool table, an electronic shuffleboard table and a comfortable lounge area with a big screen TV.
Slice and the upstairs reception rooms can be rented for private parties and functions.
This place would be perfect for a Christmas party, so call to book it now before the dates fill up!
They have a private gaming room in here for all of you gamblers out there!
Here’s Clera with our pizza pie dinner! Matt ordered and he ordered big! I don’t know how she can balance all of those plates, but she did!
We got wings and pretzel bites with cheese for appetizers and they were out-of-this-world delicious!
A tasty start to this pizza pie dinner!
They have a lot of varieties of pizza on the menu and Matt ordered the pepperoni, sausage and cheese pizzas.
They look fantastic!
I’m eating cheese pizza on this pizza tour, so I took three slices from the cheese pie and let them cool.
This pizza is just the way I like it. The crust is thin and crispy and the sauce has a nice flavor and little bit of zing to it. The pie is made entirely from scratch and it’s a tasty pizza pie!
Matt and Madeline agreed that this was wonderful pizza and a fantastic dinner.
For dessert we split a Deep-Fried Oreo Sundae and it was a decadent and sweet treat!
Talk about a happy ending to a delicious meal!
Matt turned the tables on me and snapped a photo of me taking a picture.
Okay, time to rate the pizza pie at Slice!

THE RATING SYSTEM
Any rating from 0 to 5.9 is a substandard pizza that you should definitely avoid.
A rating from 6 to 8.5 is a good pizza and gets the MBIP pizza pie recommendation.
A rating from 8.6 to 9.4 means the pizza is very high quality and you need to try it out as soon as you can.
Ratings from 9.5 to 10 represent the best pizzas in Peoria (in my opinion).

MBIP SCORE

Slice gets a high rating of 9.4. The pizza is crisp, tasty, made from scratch and you definitely need to head over to WeaverRidge and check it out!
