I have to confess, I kind of forgot about doing a Social Distance Sunday activity this week. I was busy running errands and working on blog stuff and around four in the afternoon, I realized I hadn’t done anything for a SDS post. But I still had to go to the store to get stuff for my Sunday dinner, so I took my camera and decided that would be this week’s post.
So it’s off to the store we go! But before we go, I thought I’d post some pictures I took at Schucks on March 14th of this year. That was the day that the whole Covid 19 thing started to become real. I went to the store and got kind of freaked out about all the empty shelves and how people were hoarding stuff.

Here’s some of the photos I took that night. I remember feeling freaked out that night, click here to see the entire post.
Okay, let’s head back a half a year later.

It’s a little too sunny for me today, but what are you going to do?
Here we are at Schucks, let’s go inside and start our Sunday shopping expedition!
It’s not too crowded because it’s late afternoon and most people have done their Sunday shopping already. Perfect for a social distant shopping day!
I used to love the salad bar in here, but now because of the virus it’s used to sell soft drinks. That’s kind of sad, so let’s just move along here.
The hot soup bar is also on hold, they just sell crackers here now. Okay, I’m officially getting depressed here! Let’s keep moving along.
Holy shitballs, there’s giant flying spiders in here! Somebody call the Orkin Man!
I thought it was a little early for a giant Halloween display until…
I saw this Thanksgiving Day shit on display! If I see any Xmas stuff, I’m going to officially lose it!
I know marijuana can be had in Peoria now, but I had no idea that crack is now being sold in grocery stores! That is truly wack!
Every time I see this on the floor this song plays in my head. Every single time. It’s slowly driving me insane!
This is a sight for sore eyes! The toilet paper and paper towel shortage appears to be a thing of the past. I wonder if anyone is still wiping their ass with toilet paper they hoarded a half a year ago?
Okay, I have all the ingredients for my Sunday dinner, let’s get out of here and go home and whip up tonights Sunday entree!
I always pride myself on putting my cart away in the proper lane!
Here’s my Sunday dinner. Since I eat out or get take-out on Saturday, I make Sunday dinner at home, but I get prepared food so it’s an easy dinner to put together.
This week I got Bob Evans Six Cheese Pasta and combined it with Kevin’s Thai Style Coconut Chicken.
I microwaved them and then combined them in this pan and dusted the dish with cayenne pepper. It was a delicious Sunday dinner!
Then I had about a thousand beers and called it a night!
See you all tomorrow!
