Last week this series took a nice turn, I actually liked the sandwiches from Arby’s! That was a first!
So let’s see what this week bring us as we continue to eat the entire menu from Arby’s fast food restaurant.
Okay, we’ve eaten through the roast beef and signature sandwich menus, so now we move on to the slider section of Arby’s menu.
At least this is a no-brainer when it comes to the song at the end of the post!
There’s only two cars ahead of me at the drive-through. I ordered and got this week’s Arby’s meal…
And baboom, here we are back at the MBIP World Headquarters Kitchen and Tasting area. Let’s open the bag and check out these slider sandwiches.
They come in boxes that are open at the top and that kind of bugged me. I like my sandwiches wrapped or in a box that’s covered up.
Because of the unopened boxes, the napkins were tainted with sauce from the Buffalo Slider sandwiches and that pissed me off.
These are small sandwiches, a lot of times I’ll just eat a couple of bites of the sandwich, but if these are good, I might just eat all of them.
Another thing that pissed me off was that they didn’t give me any sauce with the sandwiches. The Buffalo Slider is pre-sauced, but the Chicken Slider has no sauce and looks kind of dry, so I added some Sandwich Pal Sweet and Spicy Mustard to it.
Okay, let’s try these two sandwiches out!
First Bites
The Chicken Slider: This was yet another pleasant surprise, I actually liked this mini sandwich! The chicken was crispy and nicely seasoned and juicy inside. The bun was bakery fresh and I really liked this slider sandwich!
The Buffalo Chicken Slider: This was a little too salty for me, but overall, it was a pretty good sandwich. It had a little heat and was nice and spicy.
The Verdict
I liked the Chicken Slider better than the Buffalo Chicken Slider, but both of them were pretty decent sandwiches. This is the second week of liking sandwiches from the Arby’s menu, it’s not as funny as when I hate them, but it’s definitely a better eating experience!
What is funny is that the further we get away from the signature roast beef sandwiches, the better things are!
