I don’t get a lot of mail these days, but the other day I got not one, but two fun packages in the MBIP Mailbox.
I thought that I’d share them with you, so let’s go take a look at them!
Usually my mail consists of junk mail and bills, so imagine my surprise to see these two fun packages in the mail!
This one was from my friends, John and De at Smiley Graphix. I love the “Share Stories” sticker on it!
There was a letter in the bag, let’s take a look.
I ordered a t-shirt from them and the letter explains that 100% of the profits from the t-shirt go to The Peoria Riverfront Museum, Wildlife Prairie Parks and Alt National Park Service. Very cool and I love the personalized note at the top!
Now let’s check out the t-shirt!
I love the t-shirt and the message rings very true today considering the events that have been happening. It’s a nice note that unity is better than division.
Smiley Graphix has a whole line of original t-shirts that do good and you can check them out by clicking here.
There was also these stickers which were a nice surprise, thanks John and De, keep up your good work!
The next piece of fun mail was sent by my friend, Chelsie Tamms from Lettering Works. Let’s open this up and see what’s inside!
I’m working on a new project I hope to launch in 2021 which is going to be called, “Cold Ones Peoria.” Chelsie designed the logo and it’s fantastic and genius work as always! Stay tuned to hear more about this project after this horrible year of 2020 is over! Thanks for the wonderful work, Chelsie!
Chelsie was recently featured on WGN news in Chicago talking about her Candid Covid Cards that she created with copywriter, Blase Minch, very exciting!
She also sent along this Lettering Works postcard and a nice note on the back.
Thanks so much, Chelsie, it’s always great to work with you and I appreciate your friendship and thoughtfulness!
Thanks to John, De and Chelsie for the fun mail!
Now I have to go pay bills, that’s the unfun mail I got! see you all tomorrow! (Photo by Lou!)
