In about two weeks, it’ll be the 53rd anniversary of the Monterey Pop Festival that happened in June of 1967. This was the first three day music festival and it was groundbreaking on many levels. It happened during the “Summer of Love” and I remember as a kid reading about it and wishing I could’ve gone.
