We’ve all been picking up food using curbside service at restaurants, but there’s an interesting curbside service happening on West Main Street that involves food for your brain.
Lit. On Fire Used Books has curbside service available now and I recently used it. Jessica Stephenson, the owner and operator will personally deliver your books to your car. And I recently took advantage of this unique curbside service.
All of the information on how to do this is at the bottom of the post.
This is funny how this started. Jessica texted me and said I could utilize my gift card I purchased a couple of weeks ago. I texted her back to say I didn’t remember buying one…whoops, maybe one too many pandemic drinks!
It turns out I bought a one hundred dollar gift certificate, which I was happy I did! I love this store and I’m glad I decided to support it, despite having no memory of doing so! I told Jessica to go ahead and pick out one hundred dollars worth of books and surprise me. And that’s what she did!
I can’t wait to see what she picked out and here we are, curbside at Lit. On Fire Used Books. I see a familiar face in the doorway!
Jessica is delivering the books to me! Great to see her and we had a nice curbside chat. She said things are going well and I was happy to hear that.
Even better news was that there was a customer behind me, nice to see this curbside book service is taking off!
There’s the bag of books in the MBIP Mobile. Let’s go back to MBIP World Headquarters and open this up. I can’t wait!
Alright, we’re at MBIP World Headquarters and now it’s time to open up this bag of books! This is exciting! I feel like it’s Xmas!
On the top is a bookmark. Nice!
Now on to the main event!
I love books and one thing I love is the book cover art, this one is a classic! I think I’ll put up a link to each book Jessica picked out so you can read about it.
These were such wonderful choices, thanks Jessica, I can’t wait to start reading all of these interesting books!
