Local businesses everywhere are hurting due to this stupid pandemic we’re in the middle of. We really need to support them and one of my favorite local businesses has a name that’s well-suited for my lifestyle: The Nut House.
I decided to help them out by going there and getting one hundred bucks of nuts, because…well, why not? I’ve always wondered what one hundred bucks of nuts look like and today we will find out
To the Nut House we go!
Here we are at The Nut House on Main Street, let’s go in and enjoy the nutty aroma in this place!
It always smells so fantastic in here.
The Nut House has been serving Peoria for over 100 years! How nuts is that?
Of course I have to touch the scale when I come in here, it’s just the rules!
There’s Mary starting to weigh up one hundred bucks of nuts!
She told me she thinks this is the first time someone has bought one hundred bucks of nuts in here. I’m happy to be the nut that’s doing this!
While Mary’s bagging the nuts, we’ll take a look around in here. In addition to all of the nuts, there’s also a huge selection of candy and there’s ice cream as well. Sweet!
I love the vintage pictures on display in here!
Mary’s still working on our nutty order!
In addition to the many varieties of candies and nuts, they also have greeting cards for sale in here.
We’re getting close to seeing what one hundred bucks of nuts looks like! This is quite a memorable day for me! It’s just totally nuts!
They also have fresh popcorn in here.
Ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce to you, one hundred bucks of nuts!
Thanks to Mary for the great service and for playing along!
Here we are, back at MBIP World Headquarters with one hundred bucks of nuts! What a nutty, nutty day!
Okay, it was just $99.99 bucks of nuts, but that’s almost better! Sometimes you feel like a nut. Some times you don’t. Today I do.
If you’re reading this, please stop by The Nut House and show them some local love by buying some candy, nuts, ice cream or popcorn! Shop local and shop like a nut!
