Live, from Peoria, Illinois, it’s Saturday Night Take-Out starring this week’s host, W.E. Sullivan’s and featuring special guest stars, Miriam and Bridie.
Now please welcome this week’s host, W.E. Sullivan’s!
Here we are across the street from W.E. Sullivan’s and their neighbor, Emack & Bolio’s.
I crossed the street andwe’re at W.E. Sullivan’s.
Check out the pretty fall presentation in front of the building.
Okay, let’s go in, but first look at the obligatory mirror action happening at the front door. I love it when that happens!
Here we are inside of W.E. Sullivan’s. Let’s take a few photos before we get our take-out meal for this Saturday evening.
There’s the beers on tap, the fireplace and a shot from the opposite end of the bar.
Okay, it’s time to get our meal to go.
And on cue, Miriam has our meal, along with a bottle of booze.
We’ll just take the meal, I learned a few years ago not to drink and drive in the Heights!
And on the way out I ran into my friend, Bridie, who was looking pretty in her black mask that matched her outfit! Great to see her again and catch up on things!
And before you know it, boom, we’re back at the Kitchen and Tasting Area in the MBIP World Headquarters.
As always, the first course is a giganzo 24-ounce can of Bud Light. Cheers!
The first course for the evening is an order of their Pork Wings. These are slow-cooked pork shanks and you have your choice of two different sauces to have them cooked in.
I chose Buffalo and Teriyaki and these were so tender and delicious! A unique and wonderful start to this Saturday night dinner!
I also got a side dish of the Irish Mac and Cheese and this was a rich and decadent treat!
For the main course I got the Corktown Cheesesteak Sandwich with a side of Cole Slaw.
The Cole Slaw was creamy, crisp and very tasty.
I also got a side dish of the Beer Cheese and applied that to the Corktown Cheesesteak Sandwich.
I decided that it was best to eat this cheesy sandwich with a fork and a knife.
This was such a savory, cheesy and delicious sandwich!
It has sliced ribeye steak and Sullivan's pulled corned beef with sautéed red peppers and onions, and a blend of melted cheeses. The sandwich is housed on a French hoagie. What a tastyand delicious sandwich!
This was a fabulous Saturday night dinner! Thank you W.E. Sullivan’s!
