If you follow this blog, you know that one of my favorite Peoria restaurants is Agatucci’s. It’s a classic Peoria place and it’s known for it’s pizza, spaghetti and fried chicken.
One thing I didn’t know about until November of 2016 was their Italian Sausage Sandwich.
They have a homemade Italian sausage sandwich that is so tasty and delicious and that’s why it’s this week’s featured Sandwich of Peoria!
There’s a shot of Agatucci’s at night. Agatucci’s is Peoria’s oldest pizza and Italian restaurant and you can read their history here.
The Italian Sausage Sandwich is served up!
There’s a bird’s-eye view of the sandwich in all it’s glory!
This sandwich has a flavor that can’t be duplicated anywhere else because the heart of the sandwich is their homemade pizza sausage that is so savory, spicy and tasty!
It’s topped with a generous portion of marinara sauce, grilled buttery onions and creamy melted mozzarella cheese.
It’s housed in a bakery fresh bun and this is such a taste sensation.
This sandwich defines comfort food and if you’ve never had one of these you should get over there tonight and try it out!
