I’m not a big fan of bright things. My stomach sinks when the sun comes up in the morning and I feel joyful when it sets and my beloved nighttime comes along with its comforting blanket of darkness. This is why I’ve never gone to the East Peoria Festival Of Lights. A festival devoted to all things light? Methinks not and I stay far away from that madness every year. Since I’m not a fan of that festival, I thought we could have our own festival over here at MBIP and give equal time to darkness. And since it is Black Friday, what better time to introduce the First Annual MBIP Festival Of Darkness?
The First Annual MBIP Festival Of Darkness
My friend Clare is driving us to the place I chose for the site of our darkness festival...
The Judge’s Chamber Bar & Grill on Main Street in beautiful downtown Peoria! This is one of the darkest bars in town, so I thought this would be the perfect place for a festival of darkness. Let’s go in and let this festival begin!
There’s bartender Adam behind the bar serving up an ice cold can of Budweiser! Always great to see him and now let’s turn the flash off of the camera and begin The First Annual MBIP Festival Of Darkness!
I love it!
Everything looks better in the darkness...especially me!
Hey, wait a second...what’s that orange blob over there by the door?
Yikes...it’s getting closer and it’s really a sickening color and it’s ruining our Festival Of Darkness!
Oh no...it’s Donald Trump. Fuck, as if this asshole hasn’t caused me enough grief this year! What are you doing here anyway, Donald?
I thought I’d stop by your city and make Peoria great again...and maybe grab a little pussy while I’m here.
Ugh, you’re all class as usual, Donald. Well, you’re the last person I expected to see today.
Why is that?
Well, you do know that today is Black Friday, right?
Ha! I knew that would get rid of him! Happy Festival of Darkness and we’ll see you all tomorrow!
