Tonight we’re heading off to a bar in the East Bluff neighborhood that I’ve never been to. The bar is called Sparky’s Bar & Grill and it’s located on Wisconsin Avenue.
Let’s head on over there for our 86th night out on the town!

Bar Number 86: Sparky’s Ringside Bar & Grill, (Easter) Sunday, April 5, 2026
Here we are at Sparky’s Ringside Bar & Grill on Wisconsin Avenue in the East Bluff of Peoria. The bar has been owned and operated by Dianna Howard for over 25 years now.
I love the Busch sign looming over the bar! Let’s go in and see what’s happening in here on this Easter Sunday!
The bar is somewhat full, but there’s a couple empty seats over there, let’s go snag one and get settled in here.
Steve was the nice bartender on duty but he was a little camera shy. Instead of me taking his picture, he introduced me to two regulars sitting at the bar…
Here’s Tony and Ronnie, who posed for the MBIP Camera.
Both are regulars here and as you can see, they were thrilled to have me take their picture! Great to meet both of them!
They have no beers on tap, but the bar is nicely stocked and they have a Happy Easter sign up!
As you can see from the lamp hanging over the bar and this fellow in the corner over here, this is a Cardinals bar. Don’t come in here screaming for the Cubs!
This is a popular place to play pool in the neighborhood and I took advantage of a lull in the games happening to take this photo.
They have seats and a long railing bar on the wall opposite the actual bar in here.
I love the neon signs and there’s yet another sign of the fact that this is a St. Louis Cardinals bar!
There’s a dart board, a jukebox and yet another reminder that this is a Cardinal’s bar on this back wall over here.
Here’s a couple shots from the back of the bar and the pool table is back in action again!
There’s lots of gaming machines lining the back wall in here.
