A brand new bar…well, they call themselves a taproom, Analytical Brewing opened up a couple months ago in downtown Peoria. Most of the beer is brewed at their brewery location in Lexington, Illinois that’s been in operation since August of 2021.
I’ve heard good things about the Peoria location and a friend of mine is performing there tonight, so I though it was the perfect night to check it out on this 102nd night of our 365 bar crawl.

Bar Number 102: Analytical Brewing - Peoria, Thursday, April 23, 2026
Here we are at Analytical Brewing on Adams Street in downtown Peoria. This place just opened up and I haven’t been here yet, so I’m excited to see what’s inside.
There’s our special guest star, Jim/Vern Damico holding the door. Jim/Vern is out with us on a rare non-road trip evening, although he did drive us down here. Always great to have him along for the night out!
There’s the bar and as you can see, Jim already snagged a seat, let’s go join him and start our evening at Analytical Brewing!
Since this place is billed as a “taproom,” they have plenty of beers on tap. As I mentioned earlier, most of them are brewed at their brewery located in Lexington Illinois, but I was happy to see they had Pabst Blue Ribbon on tap and I’m sure that Chad Wallace loves it too!
The Sweet Lou’s Cider cracked me up and only my friends Amber and Joe will get this inside joke!

Jim was having difficulty deciding on which beer to order, it had been roughly seventeen minutes of him trying to decide when I snapped this photo. Kids take note: Smoking unfiltered “cigarettes” can affect your decision making process! We’ll take a few photos and come back after he finally has made a decision!
They also have canned beer available in this cooler behind the bar and I love the logo painted on the wall over here!
As I mentioned earlier, a friend of mine is performing here and there’s a nice crowd that came to see the live music tonight!
Meanwhile, back at the bar, part one: There’s Jim/Vern enjoying his beer that he finally decided on! This is the first and maybe last time you’ll see him drinking a beer on the blog, so enjoy it!

My friend, Brian Carroll is performing along with Rockin’ Ronnie and they just started minutes ago and the crowd is loving them already! They play under the name of Bri and Rockin’ Ronnie!
Bri and Rockin’ Ronnie put on a fabulous show and the crowd loved them! As you can see, they packed the place!
