A Guy Walks Into 365 Bars…Again! Bar Number 91: Oliver’s In The Heights

by MBIP

Oliver’s In The Heights has been in business in the same location for decades. They’re best known for their homemade pizza, but I thought we’d try something different for our Saturday night dinner in there, just to show a different menu option.

And so let’s go begin our Saturday night evening at Oliver’s In The Heights!

Bar Number 91: Oliver’s In The Heights, Saturday, March 11, 2026

Here we are at Oliver’s In The Heights, let’s go in and begin our Saturday evening in Peoria Heights.

The sign says, “Seat Yourself,” so I went over to the bar and plopped down in one of the padded chairs and settled in for the evening.

Here’s my view from where I’m seated at the bar.

Caleb was the friendly bartender on duty and he served me up a beer and took my dinner order. Everything is running on schedule tonight!

There’s the back of the bar and I handed my phone over to Caleb to take a shot of the many beers on tap back there.

He did a wonderful job of taking this photo, thanks, Caleb!

Here’s some different angles of the large square wooden bar in here!

I love the wooden, A-frame ceiling in here. Check out the vintage rock posters up in the rafters. Very cool!

There’s dining tables in front of the bar and over to the side of it.

Here’s a shot of the dining room opposite the bar.

There’s tables on this enclosed patio out here. They also have a gaming room back here if you’re in the gambling mood.

They have a large and very nice beer garden out here. It’s still a little chilly to hang out back here, but the live music starts soon. Check out the upcoming shows on their website (scroll down to see the dates.)

Meanwhile, back at the bar…

Dinner is served!

I got the Pulled Pork, Gouda & Bacon Sandwich and it looks amazing. I also got a side of the Mac and Cheese, which was highly recommended by Caleb. We’ll dig in to that first.

Wow, this Mac and Cheese is simply amazing!

It’s a dense Mac and Cheese and very rich and flavorful. Plus it’s loaded with bacon bits.

This is definitely some of the best Mac and Cheese I’ve ever had!

This sandwich is huge and I decided to eat the top onion ring seperately to take it down in size!

Okay, I placed the toasted bun on top, it’s time to open wide and take the first bite of this giganzo sandwich!

I managed to take a bite of this monstrous sandwich and it was so delicious!

It’s made with juicy and savory pork slices, rich melted gouda cheese, smoky bacon, the onion ring and topped with their bourbon BBQ sauce. The bun is bakery fresh and this is such a flavorful and tasty sandwich!

This was a fabulous dinner at Oliver’s In The Heights. Thanks to Caleb and everyone there for the wonderful service and Saturday night dinner!
