As I mentioned in the introduction, it’s the 13th anniversary of Kenny’s Westside Pub, so I got Sean a gift and here it is!

Okay, it’s off to Kenny’s we go…

And baboom, through the magic of the interwebs, here we are at Kenny’s Westside Pub in beautiful downtown Peoria!

Let’s go inside and see what’s happening on this festive evening of green!

As expected the bar is completely full of people celebrating St Patrick’s Day!

There’s the original Kenny’s sign in the middle of the bar and the declaration that Kenny’s was born on this day, 13 years ago in West Peoria!

Here’s a shot from the back of the bar. Everyone is having a spectacular time in here tonight!

As I was heading into the music theater room at Kenny’s I saw these two people in two perfect sweatshirts for the evening!

Onstage at Kenny’s is the progressive bluegrass band, Still Shine.

The band is sounding wonderful, as always and the crowd is loving the music and the beautiful light show that happens for every musical event at Kenny’s Westside Pub.

Sean Kenny’s Fortress Of Solitude

This is a place in Kenny’s Westside Pub that most people never get the privilege of experiencing, it’s Sean Kenny’s Fortress of Solitude in a secret room at Kenny’s Westside Pub.

And there’s the man himself, Sean Kenny! Always great to see Sean!

It’s a 13th anniversary beer bottle opener!

I first met Sean in April of 2013, when he opened up Kenny’s Westside Pub on Farmington Road in West Peoria.

I’ve followed him along on this 13 year journey and it’s been one hell of an amazing ride! Sean chased his dream, caught it and along the way re-imagined and opened up another entertainment mecca here in Peoria, The Friendly Valley Tavern!

Sean has worked fearlessly and hard to make his dream become a reality and Peoria is lucky for this man’s vision. He’s certainly added his own, unique layer to Peoria’s entertainment landscape and I thank him for all he’s done for our fair city!
