Okay, tonight’s bar was a happy accident. I was actually looking for a place I couldn’t find and stumbled upon a bar with no sign attached to it.

I walked in, not knowing what to expect and ended up having a great time! Scroll down and I’ll show you what happened!

Bar Number 45: Christi’s Den, Monday, February 23, 2026

I was in Dunlap looking for another bar when I saw this place which had a Budwesier and a Pabst sign, but no actual sign as to what the bar was named. If it even is a bar, I wondered if it was some sort of private club.

I was intrigued, so I decided to stop to see what this place was. Let’s go inside and find out!

I walked in and saw a furry customer seated at the bar…

His name was Ben and he told me to have a seat and make myself comfortable, so that’s what I did. And yes, apparently I’m losing my mind! That’s what going to bars for 45 nights in a row can do to you!

Angie was the pretty and friendly bartender on duty and here she is serving me up an ice-cold can of Pabst Blue Ribbon.

This is a really friendly place and she told me to take all the photos I wanted to, so that’s exactly what I’m going to do, let’s start clicking!

There’s both sides of the back of the bar in here, as you can see, it’s a well-stocked bar!

I had a nice coversation with everyone at the bar and they said that this is one of the oldest buildings in Dunlap.Through the years it’s been several variations of teverns.

This is a neighborhood bar filled with regulars, but everyone is super friendly to a new customer like myself.

Here’s the room opposite the bar with tables, chairs and a nice pool table. There’s also two dart boards that I forgot to get a shot of. Whoops!

There’s a Bud Happy Hour neon sign and a board with Butch’s Pizza and the daily specials on. it.

They’ve got a Bash Board over here and this I think this fellow needs to call an Uber home! He’s looking a little rough!

There’s gaming machines in the corner over here for all of you gamblers out there.

While there’s no sign outside declaring that this is Christi’s Den, Angie pointed out this sign from back in the day, which looks a little racy for those days!

She also brought out some vintage drink chips from back in the day. Very cool!
