I heard about a bar that has something that we haven’t seen yet on this bar tour. And this bar is the Roadhouse Sportsbar in Knoxville, Illinois.

Our friend Jim/Karl is going to be driving us there, so let’s not waste any more time and let’s hit the road to Knoxville, Illinois for the 231st stop of our 365 tour of bars in and around Peoria, Illinois.

Bar Number 231: Roadhouse Sportsbar, Wednesday, October 7, 2026

The sun is setting in the sky as we make our way to Knoxville, Illinois.

I took a shot of Karl behind the wheel, but it fuzzed out so you’ll have to wait a minute or two to see his smiling face. Here’s this in the meantime.

Okay, through the magic of these here interwebs, you’re spared a 40 minute drive to Knoxville, Illinois and here we are at the Roadhouse Sportsbar.

It’s a little hard to see, but at the bottom of that Old Style sign are the words, “Drive-In.” That refers to the thing they have that we’ve never seen at a bar before on this tour. Keep on scrolling to find out what that is!

I promised you a shot of Karl and there he is at the door. He’s a little in the shadows, but we’ll have a full, unshadowed shot of him coming up real soon. Till then, here’s this.

Wow, they have a nice large, rectangular wooden bar in here and as you can see, Karl has already gotten a seat and is conversing with some of the patrons at the bar. Let’s go join him and get a drink.

Alyssa was the friendly and pretty bartender on duty and here she is serving me up the first beer of the evening. Cheers!
