Bar Number 228: Dave’s Pizza, Saturday, October 3, 2026

Here we are at Dave’s Pizza in Bartonville on a lovely Saturday evening. Let’s go in and start this week’s Saturday night in Bartonville, Illinois!

As soon as you walk in and look to the right, there’s the cozy little bar area in Dave’s Pizza. There’s about a half a dozen seats and there’s an empty one at the end of the bar. Let’s snag it and get settled in for the evening.

Ashley was the pretty bartender on duty and here she is bringing me a bottle of Bud Light with a beautiful smile.

She took my dinner order and we’re off to a fabulous start here at Dave’s Pizza!

Here’s a shot from the other end of the bar and there’s lights hanging overhead that illuminate the space nicely!

There’s the back of the bar and the quartet of beers on tap back there.

I love the Budweiser Blvd. sign and the clock with no hands is also a nice touch!

Halloween season is here and they’ve got some spooky decorations out for the holiday!

I love the Led Zeppelin picture in the middle of all the baseball images on the wall!

They’ve got a nice dining room here to enjoy dinner and drinks at.

Meanwhile, back at the bar, the condiments have been placed in front of me. This can only mean one thing…ladies and gentelmen…it’s…

Pizza time on a Saturday night!

I got a pepperoni pizza with extra cheese and ordered it cooked well done. I added some hot sauce and pepper and it looks absolutely fabulous!

The pizza here is always a tasty treat. The crust is thin and crispy and the sauce has a wonderful flavor and zing to it. The cheese and pepperoni add to the fantastic flavor and this was a tasty and fun evening at Dave’s Pizza!
