Friday Bites! - Your Weekly Snack Attack! - This Week: Cereal Snacks

by MBIP

Okay, we’ve all heard of serial killers, but did you know that there are serial snacks?

Well, actually they’re spelled cereal snacks and yes, they are snacks derived from boxes and bags of cereal. Most people have cereal for breakfast and cover it with milk. Well, if you take the milk out of the equation, it magically becomes a dry snack item. And if you add another ingredient and microwave the cereal…well, that might just take that item into cereal snack heaven!

Let’s move along and find out as we keep on scrolling down to this week’s snacking photo journey!

——

Hy-Vee

Here we are at Hy-Vee in Sheridan Village, let’s go in and choose this week’s snacking selections!

There’s the cereal aisle and I’ve scooped up my selections. Let’s head back to the MBIP World Headquarters Snacking Area and we’ll view this week’s chosen snack items.

The MBIP World Headquarters Snacking Area

Here’s the trio of cereals I chose, clockwise from left: Honey Bunches of Oats, Cinnamon Toast Crunch and a bag of Nature Valley Granola.

As I was wandering around the cereal aisle I happened upon this bottle of Runamok Salted Caramel Maple Syrup. It’s a limited edition and it was close to twenty bucks for this bottle, but I’ve never had limited edition maple syrup, so I said what the fuck and I bought it! I think this could add a magical level to this week’s snacking session!

Okay, let this week’s snacking begin!

Cereal Snack Number One: Honey Bunches of Oats

In addition to the oat cereal it’s got maple flavoring and pecans. Let’s try it out!

Wow, this is a tasty cereal and I love the pecans in it. It makes it a nutty, nutty treat!

Now we’ll add the Runamok Limited Release Maple Syrup, put it in the microwave for 30 seconds and try it out.

Oh my god! That syrup is unbelievable and warmed up over this cereal is a taste-treat beyond belief!

If you were high and had the munchies you would definitely be in a snackable high-ass heaven! I may start smoking pot again just to try this shit high!

Cereal Snack Number Two: Cinnamon Toast Crunch

This is a fairly simple cereal, they’re just cinnamon toast crunchy squares, but they look and sound like a sweet and simple treat!

And as I sample the dry version that’s exactly what they are, a sweet and simple treat! I love it when I’m right!

I added the magical syrup and warmed them up and all of a sudden these took on a taste of fancy French waffles! Sweet and so delicious, I’m telling you, this is truly a magical syrup!

Cereal Snack Number Three: Nature Valley Granola

I thought we’d add some granola to the cereal mix for a little variety, so here’s a bag of Nature Valley Granola.

This was a salted caramel flavor, so I thought it would compliment the syrup perfectly.

These were sweet and slightly salted clumps of granola and they were a tasty snack.

But like the others, adding the Runamok Salted Caramel Maple Syrup and warming the granola up, took it to a heavenly delight! So sweet and tasty!

I almost used the entire bottle and this syrup was expensive but definitely worth it. This was some sweet snacking! Now I might just chug the rest of it!

Cheers and we’ll see you all tomorrow!
