Here we are at Mariachi Restaurant Bar & Grill, it’s starting to get chilly outside. Let’s go in and get warm and start our Saturday night out on the town in Peoria, Illinois!
There’s the front desk and they said to take a seat at one of the booths in the side dining room where the bar is located. Hey, I think I know those two over there in that booth…
It’s my friends and frequent guest stars on the blog, Amber and Joe!
They’re looking fantastic and it’s always fun to hang out with them on a Saturday night!
We checked out the menu and then…
Our pretty waitress, Daisy brought us margaritas and took our dinner order.
The margaritas here are giant-sized, as you can see! It’s best to drink them with a straw, because you need both hands to hold them up!
We started the Mexican dinner off with chips and salsa and they were very tasty!
They have a nice bar in here and I love the backs of the bar chairs that are adorned with tequila bottles!

There’s gaming machines over here in this corner of the side dining room if you’re feeling lucky!
I was taking photos of the booths in the main dining room and this table said hi to me, so I snapped their photo!
Meanwhile, back at our booth…
Our Saturday night dinner has arrived and it looks delicious!
Amber suggested ordering a trio of appetizers and we got, from the top: Buffalo Wings, Minichimi’s with cheese sauce and a Shrimp Quesadilla with rice.
There’s my plate of appetizers and they were delicious!
It was a great idea to order appetizers because I’m taking tomorrow and Wednesday off from the blog to work on the upcoming Marty Monologues show happening this Sunday, so this can be our weekly appetizer offering.
Everything was tasty and delcious!
