A couple of years ago on the 4th of July in 2022, the holiday fell on a Monday.
So I decided to got to four classic Peoria summer ice cream spots and get a vanilla milkshake and an order of chili-cheese fries at each one and have a little contest as to who had the best milkshake and the best chili-cheese fries and the overall best meal.
I went to Emo’s, The Ice Cream Shack, Lou’s Drive-In and The Spotted Cow.
