I always preach that you should shop local here at the MBIP Blog and there’s a special holiday pop-up shop where you can definitely shop locally at for a limited time during this holiday season.
Discover Peoria has a pop-up shop at The Shoppes At Grand Prairie that sells nothing but locally made and manufactured products from Peoria and areas close by here. They started this pop-up shop last year and I never made it out there, so this year I’m going to correct that mistake and stop out right now and take some pictures of this shop where you can truly shop locally at!

This smiling fellow is Cameron who’s part of the team at Discover Peoria and he told me to feel free to roam around and take some photos in here, so that’s exactly what I’m going to do!
As you can see the store is well stocked with local merchandise!
There’s a fun basketball game in here along with tasty locally sourced treats from Bear’s Bites, Young’s Popcorn Heaven and Hawaii Hive-O!
There’s some quality baseball and stocking caps adorned with “Peoria” and the “309” area code on them.
They’ve got the largest selection of Peoria t-shirts in here I’ve ever seen! There’s even more that these I took photos of!
There’s two local books about Peoria for sale in here: 100 Things To Do In Peoria Before You Die by Molly Crusen Bishop and 52 dates in Greater Peoria, IL.
What a fantastic selection of Peoria made products, this is a must stop shop for your holiday shopping needs!
I’ve never seen a Peoria lunch box before but here they are along with Peoria pennants, key chains and koozies!
