Sarah Marie Dillard has started a musical movement here in Peoria…literally! She’s created a traveling Tuesday open mic concert series featuring all kinds of local musicians and it happens all over town every Tuesday.
You can follow along and you should plan on seeing this original entertainment here in Peoria and if you’re a musician, singer, entertainer, contact Sarah to be a part of this Magical Musical Tour.

Tonight, the show is happening at one of my favorite places in town, the Pabst Blue Ribbon inspired, “33” Room.

“The Listening Room” @: The “33” Room In Peoria Heights
Here we are at the legendary “33” Room in the Pabst Building in Peoria Heights. Let’s go in and see what’s happening inside.
There’s a nice crowd in here already, these shows are starting to get popular with people in the area.
There’s the host and creator of this concert series, Sarah Marie Dillard, with her husband Brandon Mooberry who was helping to set up the stag for the show.
There’s the bar over there and TJ was not only serving drinks up behind the bar, he’s also part of the show, so be watching for his on stage photos!
Okay, the stage is all set up, it’s just about showtime!
Sarah opens up each show with her wonderful and original tunes. You can see and listen to more of Sarah’s music at her YouTube channel.
She also introduces each act that appears on the open mic stage.
Bruce was first up on the list and he sang a couple of great songs.
Tyler Thompson was next up on the open stage and he put on a lively performance for the crowd.
Jeff was was the next performer and he went over well with the audience.
This is such a cool room for this show and rumor has it that this is becoming a permanent stop for the Mobile Listening Room on the first Tuesday of every month!
Halee was up next and put on an entertaining set with her vocals and bass guitar.
Next up: an entertaining couple of songs from Lone Some Jones.
Kalib was the next performer and he won the crowd over with his wonderful songs and acoustic guitar.
Next up was James Herr, who was very entertaining and Sarah joined him for harmony vocals on his last tune.
This show was packed with so many fun and original musicians and entertainers that I couldn’t fit them all into one post. Tune in tomorrow for part two of this fun and exciting open mic concert at the “33” Room!
