Today is singer/songwriter and Peoria hometown hero, Dan Fogelberg’s birthday. He was born on August 13, 1951 to Margaret and Lawrence Fogelberg.
I thought we’d celebrate Dan’s birthday by putting up six Dan Fogelberg related online links and links to a trifecta of MBIP posts that featured Dan, including one of my favorite MBIP posts of all time, The Oral History of the Coachmen!
And then we’ve got the MBIP Coming Attractions for what’s happening on the blog next week. Yep, it’s all part of the plan!

THE MBIP COMING ATTRACTIONS
Monday: Last Friday night I went to see a show at the 3300 Event Center (formerly The Second Chance). Craig Moore produced a musical reunion with his band from 1969, The Big Huge. It was a fantastic show and I have photos from it on tomorrow’s post, plus there’s also White Castle Cheeseburgers!
Tuesday: It’s hard to believe, but the MBIP Grilled Cheese 23 Week Tour is coming to a close! This week is grilled cheese number 22 and I went with my friend Artie to Marquet’s Rail House in Pekin to sample their grilled cheese sandwich. One more week and it’s all over!
Wednesday: Last week Eddie Munster/Butch Patrick made an appearance at Wheels O’ Time Museum and of course I was there. And of course I got my picture taken with him! I got more photos of Eddie and more and you can see them all next Wednesday!
Thursday: Today we’re off on another Scott Turley Road Trip and you can read all about it next Thursday…if we survive!
Friday: Hopefully I can get back to my Please Grill Me summer series, we’ve had a few setbacks the last couple of weeks!
Saturday: We’ll be taking another trip back in time via the Meanwhile, Back In Peoria’a Past post!
