It’s hard to believe, but this coming Thursday marks the 38th anniversary of the ground-breaking marathon concert, Live Aid.
On Saturday, July 13, 1985 the Live Aid benefit concert was held in London at Wembley Stadium and later in the afternoon and evening at the John F. Kennedy Stadium in Philadelphia.
MTV broadcast the entire concert and I remember being glued to the TV set watching this magical concert unfold live, before my very eyeballs!
In honor of this anniversary I’ve got six links to online articles about this legendary concert plus a link to a mini video documentary about Queen’s performance, which stole the show.
And then there’s the MBIP Coming Attractions as to what’s happening on the blog next week!
