Okay, this is crazy, at least for me, but last week on the 11th of October was the 47th anniversary of the premiere of Saturday Night Live. I was a junior in high school back then and I remember parties revolving around watching this show, because if you missed it back in those pre-YouTube days, you thought you might never see it again.
In honor of this anniversary, below are a half a dozen SNL links and a video link to George Carlin remembering hosting the first show and a link to one of my all-time favorite sketches.
