Yesterday was Dee Dee Ramone’s birthday. He would’ve been 70-years-old if he wouldn’t have overdosed on heroin back on June 5, 2002.
He was truly the heart and soul of The Ramones and he wrote and co-wrote some of their best songs while he was in the band and he continued to write tunes even after he quit the legendary punk rock band.

MBIP Coming Attractions
Monday: Last night I went to The Fish House for the first time since the pandemic blew into town and I was joined by my friends, Amber and Joe.
Tuesday: We’ll be trying a brand new sub-genre of pizza this week: Grocery Store Pizza. I’m going to go to HyVee’s food court and try out their pizza as we eat all of the pizza in Peoria!
Wednesday: I’m not sure what I’m doing Wednesday, I need to figure this out pretty soon!
Thursday: It’s another Lunch At First Bite with my friend Linda at Cyd’s in Donovan Park.
Friday: We’re going to continue to eat every fast food chicken sandwich, I’m just not sure where we’re going this week. I kind of need to get my shit together here!
Saturday: It’ll be another look back at Peoria’s past this Saturday.
