While I always preach against shopping or eating at chain businesses, I am eating all the pizza in Peoria, so that means that I’m going to have to make some stops at chain pizza restaurants.
And so this week we’re going to go to Domino’s Pizza for our weekly saucy stop.
This is the elevator of the building that MBIP World Headquarters is housed in. This pink shirt has been hanging in the elevator all day and it’s creeping me out!
Who the fuck leaves a pink shirt in an elevator? I’m hoping this thing is gone when we get back here, it definitely makes me uneasy!
Here we are at this week’s pizza destination, Domino’s on Prospect Avenue.
I’ve never been in this place, so let’s go in and check it out.
There’s the front counter where we’ll pick up our pizza. I ordered it online and like always, I’m early.
I was told that it would be a few minutes before it was ready. So we’ll just take a look around in here.
Check out this tracking sign that tells you when you’re pizza is ready. Hey look, I’m a made man, I feel just like Joe Pesci in Goodfellas!
Their website said that there was no indoor dining, but there is a booth and some chairs up front to eat at. I thought about eating my meal in here and then decided against it. I’ll explain my decision in a few minutes.
Check out the Domino’s delivery bike and I love the notice that’s posted on the seat! Nice to know that Domino’s has a sense of humor!
Here’s two historical photos on the wall: The first is the original Domino’s restaurant that started it all which was called, “Domi-Nick’s.” This was first opened up in 1960.
Below is the founder and original Domino’s Pizza owner, Tom Monaghan flipping pizza dough in the air.
There’s a chalk wall in here and there’s chalk out on display for anyone to leave a message. So of course I had to leave a tribute to MBIP on the chalky wall!
Ding, ding, ding! The pizza is ready!
Let’s get it and head back to MBIP World Headquarters!

MBIP World Headquarters
I got on the elevator at MBIP World Headquarters and the creepy shirt is still here. Ugh, I’m staying as far away from this thing as I can!
Here’s the reason I chose to eat the pizza here at MBIP World Headquarters Dining Area, Domino’s doesn’t have beer and there’s always beer here at MBIP!
This week we’re going enjoy a Pabst Blue Ribbon beer in honor of Frank Booth!
Time to check out our weekly pizza pie.
It looks a lot better than I was expecting. I like my pizza with a very thin crust and cooked well done. This looks like it meets up with my cheesy criteria!
I wasn’t expecting a very good pizza pie, but this looks like it might have potential!
The crust is cracker-thin and there’s a nice browning element on the bottom of the slice!
I had high hopes for this pizza after seeing how it was cooked, but after biting into the first slice, I discover there’s literally no sauce on the pizza!
No sauce! What in the actual fuck is going on here?
I took an extreme close-up of the crust to illustrate this. There’s no sauce on the pizza…what in the holiest of all holy fucks is going on here? How do you cook up a pizza that has no sauce?
I actually had high hopes when I uncovered this pizza pie, but all hope is now gone with this disappointment of a pizza pie.
And now for the weekly pizza rating.

THE RATING SYSTEM
Any rating from 0 to 5.9 is a substandard pizza that you should definitely avoid.
A rating from 6 to 8.5 is a good pizza and gets the MBIP pizza pie recommendation.
A rating from 8.6 to 9.4 means the pizza is very high quality and you need to try it out as soon as you can.
Ratings from 9.5 to 10 represent the best pizzas in Peoria (in my opinion).

MBIP SCORE
——
I’m giving this pizza a 5.2.
It looked like it had potential, but after biting in and seeing that there was no sauce, I can’t recommend this pizza.
——
Dessert
I had a fear of this week’s pizza falling flat on it’s face, so I got a sweet treat for dessert.
This is the Chocolate Molten Lave Cake and since it’s been sitting around for over a half an hour, I thought I’d warm it up in the microwave oven.
Now we’ll cover the warmed-up cake in vanilla icing.
Holy shitballs does this look amazing!
There’s melted chocolate inside of the cake and this is so sweet and delicious! The pizza pie sucked ass, but this sweet treat kind of makes up for that!

An Hour Later…
An hour later, something was bugging me and I had to go back to the elevator on my floor…
Aaaahhh! I may have to move!
