Okay, I finished eating the menu at Panda Express. So now let’s enjoy a nice Palate Cleanser at Emack & Bolio’s before we begin our next menu eating challenge, which is announced below.
Scroll on down and find out which menu we’re eating next!
Here we are at Emack & Bolio’s on Prospect Avenue in Peoria Heights.
Emack’s has been here on restaurant row before there was a restaurant row!
Someone’s ordering up at the front corner, so let’s take a few pictures until they’re done up there.
They have tables out on the sidewalk and in the alley but there’s also seating inside.
These two tables look out onto Prospect Avenue and there’s a nice corner table to sit and enjoy your sweet ice cream treat.
I love this ice cream mural on the wall!
Okay, the front counter is clear and there’s Jack and Matt ready to take my order! They’re two friendly guys who just graduated from Peoria Notre Dame High School, my old alma mater, although back in my day it was named Bergan High School.
I checked out the menu and placed my ice cream order. While that’s being prepared we’ll take a few more photos…why not?
There’s great pop art and photos on the walls in here!
The front glass case shows a variety of cones, choices of Jones soda pop and Emack & Bolio caps.
Emack’s has been voted first place for best ice cream by the PJ Star!
Jack serves up the palate cleansing ice cream cone!
I got a vanilla ice cream cone with the white and dark chocolate cone. I wanted a simple flavor for the palate cleansing and this was a rich and creamy treat! The vanilla ice cream was so tasty and it blended well with the chocolate drizzled cone!
Now it’s time to announce the next menu we’ll be eating.

Eating Chef Boyardee! The Can Food Festival!
This one is a little different from the menu’s we’ve tackled in the past. Previously we’ve eaten the McDonald’s menu, we ate the entire Arby’s menu and the last one we ate our way through was Panda Express.
Now I plan on eating the entire Chef Boyardee menu of canned entrees!
It’s going to be a nostalgic look at these canned treats that a lot of us enjoyed after school and on the weekends back in the day.
I’m going to eat two cans a week until we make our way through every single Chef Boyardee canned entree on their menu.
Tune in next week as we begin this new and exciting food adventure!
