This week our saucy pizza journey is taking us over to Double A’s Pizza Sports Bar & Grill.
Let’s begin this cheesy adventure and head on over there!
Here we are at Double A’s. They’ve been in this location on Route 91 across from Grand Prairie for about three years now. It certainly is one of the biggest sports bars in town!
Let’s go through the double doors and let this pizza party begin!
As I head into the dining room I see two familiar faces at this table over here.
It’s my friends Amber and Joe!
Always great to see them and they’re both looking fabulous this evening!
Michelle was our cute waitress for the night and here she is delivering an ice cold bottle of Budweiser to the table.
Michelle lived in New York for a few years and so we both traded tales about living in New York City.
There’s a large bar opposite the main dining room and if you like to watch sports on Sunday, this is your place to go to.
Check out all of the TV sets in here!
The main dining room in here is doing a good business and check out the Happy Hour in here: Half priced drinks, Monday through Friday from 2-4pm! Such a deal!
There’s another dining room off to the side and tables line the wall in the front of the bar.
There’s gaming machines located in a discreet room at the back of the bar.
Meanwhile, back at our table…
Our pizza dinner is beginning with an appetizer sampler tray.
There’s chicken wings, bread sticks, deep-fried mozzarella sticks and mini corn dogs.
It looks tempting and tasty, let’s dig in!
Everything was delicious and I especially enjoyed the mini corn dog which I applied a dollop of mustard to.
Very tasty appetizers!
Here’s Michelle with the main course, this week’s cheesy pizza pie! It looks fabulous!
I took a few pieces and now we’ll let them cool down, I like my. pizza at room temprature.
There’s Amber and Joe letting their pizza cool down as well.
I really like Double A’s pizza, the crust is cracker thin, the sauce is tangy and tasty with a little sweetness as well.
The cheese is fresh and rich and this is a delicious pizza pie.
And if you’re not a pizza person, there’s plenty other items to choose from on their extensive menu.
Amber rated the pizza with a 6.8 rating and Joe gave it a 6.9.
And now, for this week’s…
——
Official Rating!
I really like the pizza here, it’s crust is super thin and crispy and the sauce is zippy and tasty. I’m going to give Double A’s a 7.9 rating.
