We’re getting close to the end of the Slider menu at Arby’s and this week we’re sampling the Ham Slider and the Pizza Slider.
Hey Puddy, what does this feel like?
I thought so, now it’s off to the drive-through we go!
As I said, we’ve just about ate our way through the Slider menu. This week we’ll be trying out the Pizza Slider and the Ham Slider.
Here we are and check it out, no one is at the drive-through lane, this is a first!
I ordered and got my sandwiches in about two minutes, this is a record time for this series!
Okay, we’re are back at MBIP World Headquarters Kitchen and Tasting Area. Time to sample this week’s Arby’s sandwiches.
I’ve said this every week since we started eating the Slider menu, I hate the open top boxes they serve the sandwiches in. It just seems unhealthy.
From a birds-eye-view these sandwiches don’t look bad, but check out the bottom of the Pizza Slider box. That’s kind of gross, it’s like the sandwich is having a period. Ugh!
And take a look at the Ham Slider, it’s kind of like it’s sticking its tongue out at the Pizza Slider!
Wow, that pizza sauce looks even worse on the sandwich than at the bottom of the open-ended box! It looks like a congealed mess!
I added some mustard to the ham Slider because it looked a little dry and you have to put mustard on a ham sandwich, it’s just the rules!
First Bites
Ham Slider: The Ham Slider was very tasty. The ham and Swiss cheese went well together and the bun was bakery fresh. A nice and simple Slider sandwich.
Pizza Slider: I was fearful of what that horrid sauce would taste like and sadly my fears were confirmed after the first bite. It had a weird bitter gasoline taste to it and the after-taste was like I had just eaten a nine day old used Kotex. Ugh!
The Verdict
The Ham Slider was tasty and I can highly recommend this sandwich.
The same can’t be said for the Pizza Slider. That sauce was horrific and left a bad used Tampon-like taste in my mouth for quite a while! And that’s not a good thing at all.
