This coming Wednesday is the 39th anniversary of the release of “Beauty and the Beat,” the debut album by the Go-Go’s.
In August there’s a documentary about the band coming out. Here’s a trailer for that film which I can’t wait to watch. They started out as a punk band and then they exploded. At the time they were one of the first all female bands who played their own instruments and wrote most of their songs.

Friday: We’ll continue to eat the entire menu at Arby’s. Arby’s Roast Beer, yes sir!
